Mascara disruptive technology was rewarded by SUEZ, last June 27^th. This award acknowledges the capacity of OSMOSUN® to provide affordable water, produced through a sustainable process, to islands, developing a new model.

Every year, SUEZ organizes a contest rewarding innovative initiatives dedicated to the resource and digital revolution. During the Innovation Trophies Ceremony, SUEZ has put under the spotlight, among other innovative projects, the solar desalination installation OSMOSUN® of Bora Bora.

The solar desalination plant, powered by solar energy only and no fossil fuels, provides 80m³ of drinking water to the remote island of Bora Bora, French Polynesia has been reward as a disruptive innovation enabling the development innovative business models to the sector for standalone production and distribution.
