First solar desalination unit of the indian ocean installed in Rodrigues

According to the Chief Commissioner of Rodrigues Island, the water supply of the 40,000 inhabitants of the island requires 12,000m³ of desalinated fresh water per day. This first demonstration of the potential of solar desalination leads the way to scale up this innovative and sustainable technology for the water supply of Rodrigues and the islands of the Indian Ocean.
