Installation of an OSMOSUN desalination plant in the port of Saint-Cyprien

Faced for the second year running with water stress affecting the Eastern Pyrenees region, and consequent restrictions on its water supply, the port of Saint Cyprien wanted to implement an environmentally-friendly alternative to ensure continuity of service for its yachtsmen and professionals in the area. The partnership between OSMOSUN and G&G Boatwash, in association with the port of Saint-Cyprien, enabled the commissioning of a small seawater desalination unit in just a few weeks. The OSMOSUN® unit supplies a pier dedicated to freshwater boat cleaning, without recourse to the municipal water network. With a daily freshwater production capacity of around 5m³, the unit can also clean between 60 and 80 boats a day.
