OSMOSUN is an industrial SME specializing in innovative renewable water treatment solutions. We developed a unique range of desalination, seawater and brackish water installations, operating in solar photovoltaic without batteries. Production capacities vary from 1 to 20,000 m3/day.
We operate in France and internationally, particularly in Africa, the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean and have a network of regional partners.

OSMOSUN® is recruiting its future South Pacific Area Manager F/M.
You will report to the Head of Business Development and your mission will be twofold: the development of commercial activity in the South Pacific area, and the supervision of the execution of the projects. You will be based on this area and will perform the following tasks:
Commercial
- Develop a strategy for approaching target customers and markets (public, private) and all stakeholders and then formalize a roadmap
- Participate in communication actions to promote Osmosun at the local level
- Conduct competitive intelligence
- Identify and qualify a network of partners,
- Carry out commercial proposals in conjunction with our technical design office,
- Manage the responses to calls for tenders, with the support of the technical team in France,
- Negotiate contracts,
Technical
- Analyze the tender file, research and prioritize constraints, detect technical, administrative and financial priorities
- Prepare the schedule of tasks and deliverables to be produced
- Determine the technical perimeters and regulations in force, look for optimizations.
- Consult and negotiate with local suppliers and subcontractors.
- Verify design, detect and identify design anomalies
- Ensure that the offer is understood by the consulting company and ensure site visits.
- Produce a technical and economic response file
- Provide the requested administrative and legal documents: bank guarantees, references, consortium agreements, etc.
- Manage the contracting phase with customers
- Ensure that everything has been put in place to allow the execution of the business according to the client’s needs (authorizations, contracts, costing, financing, etc.).
- Supervise the execution of the project: manage service providers, secure payments and meet deadlines
You will work in close collaboration with the company’s internal departments, service providers and suppliers (French and international).
After a period of in-house training in our Chartres premises, you will become independent in your business development area. Regular movements are to be expected throughout your work area.
REQUIRED PROFILE
With a higher education (Master’s/Engineer’s/Technical Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management/Water Treatment) and a commercial and technical dimension, you have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in the field of water treatment. You are autonomous, rigorous, committed to quality customer service and with real negotiation skills, interpersonal skills and a taste for commercial and technical development.

A fluent level of English and French is essential.
